Who i am
Hello, I’m Sam.
I’m a personal trainer who’s trying to do things a little differently.
After over a decade of lifting weights, I decided it was time to qualify and start teaching people what I’ve learned.
My ethos is that fitness should be joyful, personalised, and inclusive - not based on other people’s bodies, not based on trends, and definitely not one-size-fits-all.
So many of us enter the world of fitness through social media and are bombarded with messaging that makes us feel like we’re not good enough to begin. We’re shown images of these perfect people who all fit a certain mold, which we desperately try to squeeze ourselves into.
We’re given advice that sounds sensible but can be extremely dangerous, not to mention confusing.
We’re told there’s only one way to be fit.
And all of that can make us want to quit, or feel like we’re not good enough, and excludes so many people from the beautiful benefits of exercise.
My programmes are tailored to my clients’ individuality, schedules, needs, likes and dislikes.
I believe, and have seen, that the best results are yielded through programmes that are built for you rather than against you.
When you have a programme that you love, you want to keep doing it, and when you keep doing it, you unlock something amazing.
